At Willy's Graham and I enjoy making your stay memorable.

Maggie on the verandah

We want you to feel the freedom, hear the silence, soak up the country and breathe the fresh air of the mountains.  We offer our renovated 1940s farm house - Graham's family home - situated on our working dairy farm 5km north of Corryong in the magnificent Upper Murray - we believe the jewel of Victoria.

Willy's has been renovated to maintain the original farm house look and feel. Not perfect but homely, comfy and very welcoming. The kind of place you throw off your shoes and snuggle under nannas crochet rug in front of the wood heater.  We even supply the hot chocolate!

Dairy Cow in front of Willy'sTry cooking your porridge on the slow combustion stove in the kitchen - the hub of a farm house.  Watch the cows walk by as they leave the dairy for greener pasture.  Meet our dogs Aussie and Sophie - the kids will adore them - and we have a cat Zebby.

Cows are calving March/April and Sept/Oct so maybe you will be lucky enough to watch a calving.  Walk to the top of  Sheep Hill (or we will transport you) for the most amazing valley views. Take a picnic or barbie - i'ts amazing. Take a night walk to see what native animals abound (torches supplied).  Star gazing - look for satellites and planes as they pass over  (mats supplied).

Willy's Panorama with Snowy Mountains and Corryong

The property backs on to State Park. Why not take a stroll in the park. Spot the wildflowers, insects, birds and native animals.

Back at the house, after all that, be stunned by the views from the front deck. 180 degree valley views  overlooking Corryong with a hint of Mt Kosciuszko in the distance. The barbie is great here - helped along with a little 'chardy.'

Our aim is to make your stay memorable in our “country house with a few foibles”

Things to do in the Upper Murray...

Willy's holiday house sightseeing 2

Our district has much to offer. We are minutes away from the start of the great Murray River. Legendary Jack Riley, reputedly 'The Man from Snowy River' worked in the area - visit his grave in the Corryong cemetery.
Visit Murray 1 Power station at Khancoban(Snowy Mountains scheme). Southern Cloud Lookout and spot where the Southern Cloud plane went down. Ride or walk the walking trail, visit waterfalls, and the crystal clear Murray River.
Pine Mountain is only 13km away - a monolith 1.5 times the size of Uluru with 200 plant species and over 180 bird species.

Willys holiday house cycling 2

We are an easy ride to town. It's a quiet sealed country road...or if you prefer mountain biking...go the other way through our paddocks! It's a bit more difficult but still easy peasy really.

Willys holiday house fishing

Try your hand at fishing the crystal clear waters of the Corryong Creek before it runs into the great Murray. Trout, cod and of course the occasional carp. Creek runs thru our property so drive up to the edge and throw your line in.
